Why Should You Retain a Lawyer With Extensive Disability Case Experience?

Why should you seek out a disability lawyer as opposed to using a lawyer that you know of through some other experiences like a real estate lawyer or a personal injury lawyer? The answer is simple as I see it. When I have a medical problem would I go to my general practitioner or a doctor who focuses his/her practice and researches the latest developments in his medical specialty?  While it is true that in the days of my grandparents, there was only one doctor in town, with that magical black bag miraculously holding the answers to every medical problem ---Well now you see a specialist doctor for your specialty problem. .You need to do the same with a lawyer. A lawyer cannot possibly handle all of the information coming at us in all the different specialties of law. I am not a real estate attorney. I am not a malpractice attorney. I may have had cases like that in the past but I am a disability attorney. I know how to get a claim paid. I know how to communicate with the insurance company. I know how to convey to your doctors the information that they need to collect from your file to convince the company that you’re disabled. Without having the extensive experience handling disability cases from their inception to trial, I wouldn’t know where to begin.

Often cases referred to me by other lawyers have suffered because these lawyers, who did their best to help their client, simply to not know what is behind the closed doors of the insurance company. They don’t know what specific data convinces the insurance company to pay a claim and what inspires them to perform more investigation as a delay tactic.  I do. You need a lawyer who has a focus in disability law for your disability case.
